[PPP-Raw] Shooting Star Gakusaver 1-6

At the time of ripping, no DVD, Bluray, or other digital souce is known to exist. Domesday Edition: This was captured using a Domesday Duplicator. Project notes: Another set on loan from the UK – I’m alternating between my UK loaners and other projects, some of which are more “internal.” This is a giant robot show with a comedic bent. Looks like it might be pretty okay. The discs weren’t particularly well-mastered I’m afraid. Kinda fuzzy, rough cuts, jitter. Meh. Still, I think I’ve made some improvments over the existing rips. Starting with this release I am no longer including full conventional caps. I don’t see the point of keeping all of that extra lower-quality video data just for the audio, which is all we’re really after at this stage. Instead, I’ve just zipped the conventional PCM audio if you choose to replace the admitedly still dodgy Domesday audio. A few personal notes: I’ve finally managed to get a real job for grown-ups after two years of unemployment and severe under-employment, so once my finances are a bit more recovered I can look into obtaining LDs once again. Also, I’ve been contacted, pretty much at the same time, by a Russian fellow and a Chinese fellow who have given me some pointers on improving my filtereing. I have not taken that on board yet with this release – end-of-month at my new job is hectic, and I’ve been quite sick for the past week. In fact, this project has been done for a week and I’m only now feeling up to pulling a release together.
