[PPP-Raw] Before the Moon Rises

So I won’t waste your time talking about the content, and skip right to the how this release even happened. Orphan acquired an LD and sent it my way. Sadly, it wasn’t usable. It was suffering from advanced laser rot. I captured it anyhow, just to see if I could extract anything usable from the disk, but the digital audio track was shot. There’s also an analog audio track, but, and this is a bit embarrasing, my LD player doesn’t have a button to switch to it, and I have no idea where the remote is. Fortunately, somebody found another LD of it for sale, and forwarded that to Orphan, who purchased it and forwarded the disc to me again. This second disc was in much better condition, but the edges of the disc are very sticky, like the glue is seeping out. It could well be that in a few more years this disc, too, will be unwatchable. It should then be no surprise to learn the video quality is sub-par. Jitter and general blurriness throughout. Jitter is fixed, but I can’t make a blurry scene look much better. Unfiltered high bitrate DVD conversion is included for archival purposes.
